Fashion style origins at some point are easy to distinguish partly because we are somewhat oriented to the different cultures around the worlds. After all, we grew up having United Nation's Day in our pre-school and elementary years. But at present, we can hardly guess which style came from what culture because of the alterations made by fashion designers on the clothing through combining certain cultures and adding modern elements in it.
Rock Fashion started in the times of various rebellions for social change. Aside from their music, they wanted to show their defiance to the conventional by creating their own style of clothing. Because of this, we can easily distinguish their style because of its unconventional and deviant form. Sometimes it can look very outrageous and daring, sometimes it can look as if heaps of clothing were just thrown together carelessly to make an outfit, and sometimes it can look very exaggerated and disturbing.
There are four styles of Rock Fashion that exists in my observation. One would refer to the style of carelessly thrown heaps clothing on the musician and fan to create an outfit. This style would be best described by musicians who look like they haven't met soap and water for so many days but still look appealing at the same time. These musicians would sometimes have long hair, some who have hair lengths that almost reach the collar of their shirts usually have their hairs tousled to create a reckless look. They wear baggy pants and shorts, shirts or polo shirts and skater shoes or sneakers. Musicians in this mode of clothing can fall under the Rock subgenre Alternative Rock.
The other three types of Rock fashion are not too different from each other. These are the Deathrock and Gothic Fashion, Punk Fashion, and Heavy Metal Fashion.║▌║█ ▌│║█║▌║█║▌║
